Job Title: Welder (Aluminum/Steel)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder for our 2nd shift, specializing in aluminum and steel welding. This position involves working in the columns area, focusing on welding steel columns for racking systems. Candidates will also have opportunities to work in our south weld building, which requires a higher skill level and more fabrication work.

Responsibilities

+ Weld steel columns used for racking systems.

+ Work in the south weld building on advanced fabrication tasks.

+ Create jigs for various pieces as needed.

+ Pass a MIG weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and measurements accurately.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Experience in fabrication and welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a fabrication plant, with conditions varying from hot in the summer to cold in the winter. The location at Maple Ave is dirtier and dustier, while the Industrial Circle plant, where bulletproof windows are manufactured, offers a cleaner environment. Be prepared for a physically demanding job, with occasional overtime on Saturdays, typically in the latter half of the month to meet deadlines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
