    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our new EES Battery Storage unit program, which is set to run for the next 2-3 years. You will start with training on the 1st shift for 1.5-3 months before moving to scheduled shifts. We are seeking 5 individuals for each of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate at various manufacturing stations throughout the battery production line.

    + Conduct quality checks on parts to ensure standards are met.

    + Pack and prepare parts for shipment efficiently.

    + Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs with precision.

    + Maintain cleanliness of individual workstations and the facility as a whole.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to follow instructions and pay attention throughout shifts or orientation.

    + Capability to learn and operate multiple manufacturing stations.

    + Comfortable standing and remaining active for shifts of 8-12 hours.

    + Adaptability in performing assigned tasks, including moving materials and breaking down boxes.

    + Engagement and focus during entire shifts.

    + Possess a high school diploma or GED.

    + Ability to learn tasks quickly and adhere to goals.

    + Commitment to staying off cell phones during shifts.

    + Physical ability to lift or move 15-20 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to take direction and learn tasks efficiently is crucial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a $62 million brand new facility located in Auburn Hills. The environment is temperature-controlled, clean, and equipped with new warehouse equipment. Employees will be required to wear lab coats, boots, and safety glasses as part of the protective gear. Current openings are available for 5 individuals on each shift. Orientation occurs during the 1st shift, after which employees can transfer to their desired shift. Shift details: 1st shift runs from 5:50 am to 2:20 pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
