             *** PURCHASING ASSISTANT | INTERVIEWS HAPPENING THIS WEEK!!*** Job Type: Purchasing Assistant Pay: $23-24/hr+ A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a purchasing assistant to join their team. This purchasing assistant will be responsible for purchasing, vendor, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of purchasing experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive mindset. What you’ll do: + Procure all inventory required for production. + Expedite and follow up with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchase orders. + Resolve any order discrepancies or issues with vendors efficiently. + Validate receiving and inbound processes with the warehouse team. + Coordinate freight forwarding for imported goods and resolve any import-related issues. + Maintain effective communication with internal departments to support operational needs. + Request, maintain, and track all necessary supplier documentation. + Organize and maintain both hard and digital copies of all purchasing documents. + Monitor, track, and reconcile inventory levels consistently. + Help maintain an up-to-date master product list. + Collaborate with the Scheduling Team to ensure accurate inventory tracking. + Analyze inventory levels in relation to stock movements and future projections. + Conduct periodic physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy. + Forecast stock requirements and coordinate purchase orders with the scheduling team. What you’ll bring: + 1+ years of purchasing experience + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors. + Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and able to handle confidential information. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Ability to perform inventory audits and forecast stock needs proactively What you’ll get: + Exposure to a strong organization + Flexible compensation + Great benefits package Interviews are happening this week!
