Job Summary:

We are seeking a **Full Stack Engineer – Angular/.NET/Smartcomm** with **6 to 10 years of experience** in **ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, and .Net Core** , with a strong background in **Life and Annuities Insurance** .

The role involves working in a **hybrid model** with **day shifts** , focusing on **application production support** and maintaining **high-quality software solutions** .

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer – Angular/.NET/Smartcomm, you’ll support and enhance applications in the **Life and Annuities Insurance domain** .

This hybrid role, based in **Saint Louis, MO** , involves hands-on development across:

+ **Front-end:** Angular, PowerBI

+ **Back-end:** ASP.NET Core, PL/SQL

+ **Integration tools:** Smartcomm

You’ll lead issue resolution, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

+ Provide application production support in **Angular, PL/SQL, PowerBI, Smartcomm & ASP.NET Core Web API** solutions to support incident/problem/service request/job and application monitoring/weekend maintenance activities in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.

+ Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

+ Understand the business process thoroughly to provide end-to-end support.

+ Oversee the integration of third-party services and APIs to enhance system functionality and user experience.

+ Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

+ Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless user experiences.

+ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve existing systems.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights for strategic decision-making.

+ Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

+ Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation

+ **Applications will be accepted until:** November 16th, 2025

+ **Annual Salary Range:** $60,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

+ **Bonus Eligibility:** Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
