About the role
Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced iOS Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications using Objective-C, Swift and SwiftUI. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure the highest standards of software quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of native iOS applications using **Swift** and **SwiftUI** .
• Architect mobile solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Guide and mentor a team of iOS developers, conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, backend, and QA.
• Integrate mobile apps with **RESTful APIs** and **GraphQL endpoints** .
• Optimize app performance using concurrency techniques (e.g., GCD, async/await).
• Manage App Store submissions and post-release support.
• Review and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment configurations, and monitoring tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Splunk).
• Stay current with iOS development trends and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of iOS development experience, with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture principles and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
• Experience with Xcode, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL integration and schema design.
• Familiarity with Core Data, Combine, Alamofire, and other iOS frameworks.
• Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** , **Git** , and **dependency management** (e.g., Cocoapods, SPM).
• Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and App Store processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
