Description
The Manager of the Family Transitions Program provides clinical oversight to the provision of Specialized Sexual Abuse treatment to 60 families in Onondaga County and a limited number of individual contract cases with surrounding counties and through Elmcrest's Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) Other Licensed Professional (OLP) program. The position is also responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders, facilitating ongoing program development, and providing community education and training. In addition, this position will also include the following responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
+ Provide weekly clinical supervision
+ Facilitate weekly team meetings
+ Attend case meetings and family sessions (As indicated)
+ Provide training to staff based upon identified areas of need to cultivate ongoing skill development
+ Review program documentation (i.e. Risk Assessments, Discharge Summaries, etc.)
+ Monitor Internship Program and provide supervision to interns and clinicians (providing intern field supervision as indicated)
+ Provide case consultation/training to Elmcrest Residential Clinicians (As indicated)
Administrative Responsibilities:
+ Manage referral process (i.e. Consult with providers/parents who may have questions, monitor numbers related to programmatic openings)
+ Collect and track monthly statistics related to outcomes
+ Monitor outcomes related to DCFS and complete monthly and quarterly reports
+ Monitor programmatic budget
+ Monitor the completion of routine assessments, clinical tasks (i.e. Group Therapy, Progress Notes)
+ Maintain up to date/best practice treatment intervention resources and program/treatment forms (i.e. Treatment Plans, Intake Information, Assessment Tools, etc.) for ongoing program development
+ Complete administrative documentation as needed for Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance departments (i.e. Hiring and Employee Processing Forms, monthly expense reports)
+ Provide oversight and supervision (biweekly) to program administrative assistant
+ Attend monthly Managed Care Managers Meeting
Community Collaboration:
+ Provide trainings (As requested, or identified as a need)
+ Attend multidisciplinary team meeting at McMahon Ryan (Monthly)
+ Meet quarterly with Preventive Service Unit, Sex Abuse Unit and Probation Department to review partnership and program outcomes
Qualifications
+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) (LMHC-D preferred), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) (LMFT-D preferred), Licensed Create Arts Therapist (LCAT), or Psychologist (Psy.D or Ph.D).
+ 2 years of experience in related field. Experience with trauma and/or problematic sexual behavior preferred.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to effectively lead professionals on a multidisciplinary team.
+ Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, excel and email.
+ Ability to utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for documentation, record keeping and assessment.
