    This position is a support role for the Bureau of Community Planning and Growth, focusing primarily on the Special District Accountability Program. This position is expected to assist Special District Accountability Program staff with researching issues as it relates to Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, tracking special districts that are in noncompliance, maintaining the master list of special districts, and more. In addition, this position may be asked to prepare reports and assist the Bureau in keeping track of documents being routed throughout the Department.

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    + Maintains special projects and other process tracking, tracks, and updates records.

    + Preparing reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.

    + Tracking documents, folders, reports, and other items.

    + Provide support to Bureau staff as needed.

    + Maintaining, monitoring, and developing project plans and project schedules.

    + Assist Special District Accountability Program staff preparing invoices for the annual special district fee and following up on special districts failing to pay fees to the state’s contracted collection agency.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and coordination.

     

    Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

     

    Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently.

     

    Ability to perform basic administrative duties as needed.

     

    Pay: $25.00 to $27.00 (Depending on Experience)
