    *PAY RANGE:*

     

    Analyst I 13A– $52,700 – 65,900

    Analyst II 14A – $64,500 – 80,600

    *Scheduled Work Hours:*Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job may require additional hours as required. Hours may change with little notice due to project requirements between various business units.

    *POSITION SUMMARY*

     

    This position is the lead for Corporate Travel and Expenses (CT&E) program for Evergy. The position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent verbal communication and technical skills. This individual must be able to operate independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer support. Knowledge of corporate travel and expenses policies and guidelines are desired. This position provides analytics support for corporate travel and expenses and Supply Chain areas as required. Ability to adapt and chase opportunities for improvement through sound analysis is strongly desired.

     

    *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

    • Serve as the lead and primary point of contact for Corporate Travel and Employee Related Business Expenses (CT&E)

    • Oversee and manage the program to include recommendations for improvements, operate as expense pre-auditor and conduct analysts of employee business expenses

    • Coordinate with business travel, corporate credit card and other vendors as required to ensure reliable and efficient vendor support

    • Provide detailed reports of business expenses and charges, credit limits, and other reporting required to maintain program requirements

    • Monitor system and process performance and proactively identify and resolve issues

    • Develop and maintain documentation for supply chain systems, including guides, references and recommendations for policy updates

    • Think creatively to develop alternatives and solutions to suit user needs, facilitate issue resolution and ensure quality assurance

    • Adhere to system controls outlined in corporate policy and procedures, SOX compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure proper corporate management and program control

    • Coordinate system upgrades or changes with vendors and IT teams

    • Provide training and assistance to customers as required to include development of training guides and one on one or group training sessions

    • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to program needs

    *Education and Experience:*

    • Education minimum required or preferred (bullet format)

    o A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.

    • Job specific experience or other related experiences that are both required and/or preferred

    o This is an entry level position, experience desired but not required

    o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    o Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage the program independently

    o Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

    *Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:*

    * Knowledge or experience with Corporate Travel and Expenses (CT&E) policies, programs and software (PeopleSoft, DEEM, Wells Fargo) desired.

    * MS Suite to include SharePoint, Excel and Microsoft Word.

    * Identify and quantify improvement opportunities and associated scenario development

    * Ability to present data in a meaningful manner for the business to make informed decisions

    * Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment and build relationships with all customers and work groups through strong client interaction.

    * Knowledgeable in visualizing and communicating data for technical and non-technical audiences

    * Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to present information in a clear and concise manner

    * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Acts in a customer focused manner to build and maintain trust

    Office environment with both in office and remote working conditions. Location is at the Corporate HQ at 1KC of TGO.
