             Overview Town Hall—a high-growth digital media agency serving higher education and mission-driven brands—seeks a Media Strategist to lead full-funnel planning and translate performance signals into business growth strategies. This role serves as the connective tissue between our Activation & Performance Group and our Intelligence & Measurement Studio, ensuring that insights become actionable plans and that our clients’ investments drive measurable, scalable results. The Media Strategist partners closely with the Media Buying Director, Analytics & Measurement Lead, and Account Directors to design data-informed media architectures that move clients from demand capture to demand creation. What You’ll Do + Develop integrated, full-funnel media strategies across paid search, social, programmatic, and emerging channels that align with client business objectives. + Translate data and audience insights into growth roadmaps—forecasting demand, identifying saturation points, and mapping channel velocity. + Partner with the interim Analytics & Measurement Lead to build and interpret testing frameworks (incrementality, geo-holdout, MMM) that prove upper-funnel impact. + Lead quarterly strategy cycles—crafting Learning & Growth Reports, program case studies, and vertical benchmarks that advance client maturity. + Integrate proprietary audience data into planning, testing, and storytelling to showcase the link between audience modeling and performance. + Collaborate with creative, analytics, and client-service teams to ensure message, channel, and audience cohesion across every touchpoint. + Mentor junior team members on plan development, pacing management, and report synthesis. + Identify and onboard new ad-tech partners or testing opportunities that drive innovation within client portfolios. + Present strategies and performance narratives to clients—connecting metrics to outcomes with clarity and confidence. Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities + Create and manage media plans in Mediaocean (Prisma) ensuring accuracy in budget allocation and fee management + Create annual and quarterly media strategies supported by forecast models, funnel analysis, and testing plans. + Build cross-channel briefs defining objectives, KPIs, and budget allocations; collaborate with buyers to ensure flawless execution. + Evaluate campaign data to extract insights and frame recommendations for optimization and future investment + Work with the Analytics team to visualize performance through dashboards and predictive indicators. + Partner with Account Directors on goal-setting, pacing, and expectation management for each client. + Represent the Strategy & Growth Practice in internal status and leadership meetings, advocating for new approaches and ensuring alignment across teams. Requirements + 5 + years of experience in media strategy, planning, or digital marketing; agency experience required. + Deep understanding of full-funnel paid media and its role in brand and performance growth. + Demonstrated ability to connect marketing metrics to business outcomes (leads, application, enrollment, revenue). + Working knowledge of MMM, incrementality testing, and attribution modeling required. + Experience using platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and data-visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Funnel.io). + Strong analytical mindset with exceptional storytelling and presentation skills. + Comfortable collaborating with data scientists, buyers, and account teams to translate complex insights into strategic action. + Passion for innovation - staying ahead of industry trends, AI-driven planning, and privacy-centric measurement.
