             UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a Casual Invasive Cardiac Tech to join our Heart Catheterization team! In this role, you'll work varied daylight shifts with limited call responsibilities. What You'll Do + Prepare and assist patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. + Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision and attention to radiation safety. + Administer contrast and support physicians during procedures. + Verify patient identity, review orders, and document all clinical data accurately. + Maintain aseptic technique and ensure adherence to procedural time-out standards. + Collaborate closely with your team to deliver efficient, compassionate care. Invasive Cardiac Tech Qualifications: + Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS). Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS as a Cardiovascular Specialist is required. + CPR certification is required. + ACLS certification is desired upon hire. + Successful completion of ACLS certification required within orientation period. + ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound + Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
