    In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.     The candidate has proven execution as a chief engineer demonstrating technical leadership, and close coordination with customers, internal engineering teams, and program management. The Chief of Chief's will provide leadership over all of the Chief Engineers in the product line to ensure successful execution of the programs.

    Specific Job Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

    + Recruiting and growing a Chief Engineer Pipeline

    + Providing oversight and control over chief engineers in product line

    + Developing relationships with customers

    + Supporting common product governance and oversee joint program TRBs

    + Drive product leverage strategy

    + Effectively be able to negotiate requirements with customers

    + Support product line technical director in driving new business capture

     

    Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Requires qualified candidates to hold an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

    + Bachelor s degree and Minimum 14 years of technical leadership experience and capabilities relevant to the business

    + Strong communication skills and ability to present technical data effectively

    + Proven ability to share and transfer technology across organizational boundaries to the benefit of our customers and the business

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Experience with Agile frameworks, iterative development, and software development life cycles.

    + Proven ability to work in large, cross-functional teams with a self-starting and proactive approach.

    + Experience as a people manager

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
