    Job Description

    A Pharmaceutical company located in San Diego is seeking a Mid level Cyber/Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation, administration, and ongoing support of critical application systems across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine processes that ensure the successful deployment of key software platforms. This role involves managing and integrating data from multiple sources for submission to regulatory agencies, while working closely with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure departments to address electronic submission requirements. You will also evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance system quality and performance across departments. In addition, you will consult with stakeholders to define data access needs, reporting requirements, and interface specifications, ensuring alignment with both regulatory and validation standards for Clinical and Regulatory data management initiatives.

    Skills and Requirements

    • BS/BA degree in computer science, IT, or similar Field

    • 2+ years of experience in Technical Project Management

    • Experience working on technical projects related to infrastructure or cyber security preferred

    • Ability to motivate and act as a liaison between cross-functional business and technical project teams

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with all employee levels as well as external contacts (vendors)

    • Strong documentation experience leveraging tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets

    • Excellent decision-making, conflict-resolution and influencing skills - Knowledge of validated applications for regulatory purposes in a biotech/pharmaceutical company

     

    - PMP or related certification preferred

     

    - Knowledge of ITIL and/or ITSM best practices
