    Job Description

    A large CPG client of ours is seeking a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Equipment to lead the Hunt Valley Technical Maintenance Team, reporting to the Director of Engineering, Facilities & HSE. This role oversees daily and strategic maintenance operations, including reviewing prior-day breakdowns and priorities, leading daily meetings on changeovers, initiatives, and delegating tasks. The manager will guide a team of technicians (15 maintenance technicians) in maintaining and optimizing equipment, support automation systems, and manage preventive maintenance, parts ordering, and budget tracking. Responsibilities also include leading equipment installations, driving cost-reduction projects, and developing a sustainable succession plan. The plant produces color cosmetics for North America and some OTC skincare. The role also involves participating in initiative meetings and operational projects focused on efficiency and key deadlines.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -HS diploma or equivalent

     

    -10+ years in food, beauty, or medical OTC with processing/packaging equipment

     

    -5+ years of leadership experience over maintenance/engineering groups

     

    -Experience managing PM budgets

     

    -Prior exposure to facilities management

     

    -Mechanical or electrical background

     

    -Experience with Root Cause Analysis

     

    -Experience with SAP -BS in engineering

     

    -Experience managing a manufacturing organization

     

    -Experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and category management

     

    -Experience utilizing Allen-Bradley (automation)
