    Role Overview

    **Sodexo** Energy and Resource is seeking a **Project Manager 2 - Construction** to work with one of our construction management teams on MEP/commercial interior renovation projects (or other projects based on business needs) in **Houston, TX** .     What You'll Do

    + Primary project leader for execution teams on assigned projects. Develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.

    + Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and / or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Performs associated cost estimates, prepares proposals, and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance.

    + Effectively communicates project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required.

    + Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.

    + Attends and leads job progress meetings as required.

    What You Bring

    + A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable

    + Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience within new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and working in critical environments preferred

    + Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment) as well as MS project, Procore and Bluebeam preferred

    + OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire)

    + Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes
