    Position Summary

    Under general supervision, provides credentialing support for hospital privileging, payor enrollment, licensing, and general data entry.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Assists with the Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payor application process for eligible Department of Anesthesiology providers. Ensures accuracy of forms submitted to the Weill Cornell Medicine Managed Care Office and resolves issues as they arise.

    + Coordinates and ensures timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of enrollment documentations to the WCM Managed Care Office via email, interoffice delivery, or Fed Ex.

    + Tracks provider enrollment and participation status to ensure active statuses with payors. Updates internal databases with enrollment statuses.

    + Serves as a liaison between faculty, and external customers to facilitate enrollment objectives. Coordinates updates to NPI registries.

    + Assists with new hospital privileging requests, leaves of absence, and offboarding. Provides data entry for hospital reappointment tasks.

    + Assists providers with application for licensure and tracks licensure active status. Ensures clinician files are up to date.

    + Completes data entry and submits new provider profile requests to the EPIC security team. Assists with scheduling new provider EPIC training.

    + Receives and sorts credentialing mail.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned

    Education

    + High School Diploma

    Experience

    Approximately 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in an academic medical center.

    + Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor.

    + Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills in person, via email and on the telephone.

    + Maintains a team-oriented approach and always demonstrates integrity and good work ethics.
