             Procurement Manager Job Category: Logistics Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI's team located in Rochester, NY is looking to hire a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for managing the procurement and planning team in driving procurement activities, inventory strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key performance indicators for this position are on-time delivery to support production build schedules, PO and system data accuracy and strategies to mitigate risk in ECO’s. Responsibilities: + Responsible for material planning and procurement functions for new and existing products and supervising a team to accomplish procurement goals. This includes the responsibility for monitoring and creating purchase requisitions on a daily basis and converting those requisitions to purchase orders. + Manage the site MRP system and scheduling activitiesLead supplier management activities including supplier selection, qualification, and quoting. + Expedite material as needed to support the production schedule of products, assemblies, and subassemblies through close coordination with Program Management and Manufacturing + Work directly with Materials and Manufacturing personnel to communicate procurement delivery schedules along with real and potential shortages + Point of contact for suppliers, managing aspects including transfer of manufacturing information, material procurement and end of life, resolution of quality issues, return material authorizations, and material disposition. + Review all Purchase orders, requisitions and quotes for applicability, correctness, complianceComplete regular PO maintenance (e.g. quantity, ship date) in order to update MRP reports. + Reconciliation of Pcard purchases each month + Track and report on Vendor performance metrics + Assist with evaluation, auditing and management of new and existing sources of supply + Develop and implement preventative and corrective measures in the procurement process + Ensure compliance with the company Purchasing Policies and + Procedures, Code of Ethics, Values and adherence to relevant laws and regulations. + Travel to company sites and/or Customer Vendor Sites as necessary Qualifications: _Required_ + Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or similar technical field and minimum 5 years of managerial experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience + Experience in managing people within materials planning, scheduling, production control purchasing, sourcing or procurement in a production environment + Product lifecycle experience in manufacturing and PLM database knowledge desirable + Understanding of engineering and manufacturing bills of material and drawings, BOM structures, manufacturing test and quality control processes. + Ability to manage and exceed at delivering on multiple high priority tasks + High level of organization and attention to detail + Demonstrated working knowledge of MRP systems, Outlook and Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables) including spreadsheet creation, calculation and reporting + Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems + Strong oral, verbal and written communications skills - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
