    Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Patriot Missile Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) Project Lead within the Land Air and Defense Systems (LADS) team to support the growth strategy for the Patriot Missile Product Line. You will report to the Patriot NRE Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and will regularly interact with program leadership, product line leadership, and cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple NRE projects with a primary focus or ensuring tasks are completed as planned within allocated budget across multiple Patriot Missile programs.

     

    You will also have the responsibility for briefing program and product line leadership and providing technical, schedule, and cost performance status.

    What You Will Do:

    + Prepare briefings for internal and external program status reviews, monthly progress report, and internal weekly and monthly leadership updates

    + Develop partnerships with design engineering, specialty engineering, test engineering, EX/IM, contracts, finance, global supply chain, quality, and operations

    + Lead a multi-disciplined team to include the Product Line, Cross-Product Teams (CPT), and Subcontractors/IOTs in the execution and growth of the Patriot Missile products via management of NRE projects

    + Meet contractual commitments including the financial, quality, cost efficiency, technical and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM)

    + Knowledge of licensing requirements within the Department of Commerce and Department of State regulations

    + Establish and manage a product vision, strategy, and goals to align with multiple Programs/Customers and facilitate conflict resolution

    + Support the capture of new business and influence technical and product line roadmaps, ensuring they are reflected in program planning and execution

    + Plan out and lead the incremental break-in of upgrades and system improvements

    + Engage with major subcontractors and partners to ensure product deliverables

    + Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience

    + Experience with risk/opportunity management

    + Earned value planning/tracking/reporting and/or metrics management experience

    + Leadership experience in either an IPT organizational structure and/or an IPL (Integrated Program Leadership) construct, leading cross-functional teams

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Program Management Level 6 Certification or equivalent

    + Ability to track, report, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks associated with NRE development efforts

    + Experience in production environment for entire Product Life Cycle from material release through contract sale

    + Experience with and understanding of export and import controls, compliance and licensing

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
