Job Description:
+ The client is seeking a highly skilled Customer Engineering Specialist to join their team and support the migration from the Content API for Shopping to the Merchant API.
+ This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication, and project management skills to drive successful partner integrations and enhance client satisfaction.
+ The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Development, Product, and Partner Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure seamless partner transitions.
Overall Responsibilities:
+ In partnership with Business Development teams:
+ Provide high touch technical support with strategic clients to facilitate the migration from the Content API for Shopping to the Merchant API.
+ Manage relationships with a portfolio of Partners with senior internal and external stakeholders
+ Design support solutions to complex customer challenges and recognize patterns that can be reused by other Partners.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
+ Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, educate partners and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
+ Communicate pre-migration assessment, flag detected errors and migration-related issues.
+ Work with Business Development, Product Managers and Partner Operations Managers to upgrade top clients’ integration and make tools requests required to improve processes and performance.
Required Experience (Mandatory):
+ 2–5 years of Product Management experience in a technology or R&D environment.
+ Strong background in UX design or product design collaboration, including experience producing wireframes, mocks, or clickable prototypes.
+ Proven experience owning end-to-end product lifecycle—from requirements definition through launch and iteration.
+ Hands-on experience with Figma and familiarity with Design systems.
+ Understanding of AI concepts and their application to products/workflows.
+ Experience working with or supporting internal tools (enterprise or R&D-focused) preferred.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, design, and executive stakeholders.
+ Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
+ Experience within large-scale tech/R&D organizations strongly preferred.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
+ 4-5 years of experience in a technical, partner-facing role with a strong customer focus.
+ Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
+ Deep expertise with RESTful APIs, including integration, troubleshooting, and debugging. Coding skills required.
+ Experience with Shopping APIs is a huge plus!
+ Proficiency in SQL for managing and analyzing data.
+ Proven project management skills, with experience in managing complex technical migrations.
+ Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
+ Language: Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese & Japanese is appreciated.

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience:
