JOB OVERVIEW
The Graphic Designer will serve as a key brand steward, combining strong visual design skills with strategic thinking to elevate and evolve the Sunrise brand across digital and print platforms. This role will contribute to the evolution of the Sunrise brand by supporting brand strategy initiatives, designing and refining visual identity systems, and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Collaborating closely with the creative and marketing teams, the Graphic Designer will help bring brand-aligned campaigns to life and uphold design excellence across materials. This individual will also play a key role in maintaining and evolving brand standards—ensuring clarity, consistency, and connection in every expression of the Sunrise brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain cohesive visual brand systems—including logos, color palettes, typography and brand guidelines—that reflect Sunrise’s mission and identity across all internal and external touchpoints
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative and business teams to shape brand strategies that support enterprise goals, resonate with target audiences and adapt to evolving market trends
+ Lead the design and production of high-quality visual content across multiple platforms, including presentations, proposals, marketing collateral, digital assets, web content and digital advertising
+ Serve as a brand governance lead by ensuring creative alignment and consistency across all campaigns, materials and experiences, while providing guidance on brand standards and best practices
+ Track brand perception, monitor campaign performance and interpret market insights to inform brand decisions and optimize communication strategies
+ Develop and maintain scalable templates, toolkits and visual standards to ensure brand consistency and ease of use across Sunrise teams
+ Stay current with emerging trends in branding, design and visual storytelling, continuously applying new ideas to elevate the Sunrise brand experience
+ Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Core Competencies
+ Proven ability to design and produce high-quality, visually compelling materials—including presentations, proposals, and digital assets—that align with brand standards and communicate key messages effectively
+ Understanding of branding principles and demonstrated experience applying brand voice, positioning and visual identity consistently across multi-channel marketing materials
+ Strong ability to work collaboratively with marketing managers, copywriters, designers and subject matter experts to deliver cohesive, audience-focused creative solutions
+ Demonstrated ability to brainstorm with design colleagues to originate and create innovative design solutions that meet the unique needs of each project and audience
+ Proven ability to quickly adapt to evolving design needs and improve design quality on a continuous basis
Experience and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
+ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing or related discipline
+ 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, branding or design agency/internal department
+ Strong online portfolio showcasing both print and interactive design, with an emphasis on brand strategies and digital assets
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign
+ Proven ability to maintain brand consistency across all design deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectivesives
+ Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, copywriting, design and subject matter experts
+ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey design concepts clearly
+ Proven attention to detail and high levels of organization, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple design projects and deadlines
+ Ability to think strategically, adapt to changing project needs and solve problems creatively
+ Highly self-motivated and proactive in staying up to date with industry trends, tools and best practices for design and brand development
