With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. __ Position Summary The Business System Associate is tasked with working with business and application owners in support of the HHC ERP System and other applications. This role will collaborate with other application specialists to determine the appropriate set of master data standards, quality levels, and ongoing governance procedures required to achieve and sustain the organizational goals. They will work closely with Supply Chain on activities related to data configuration and maintenance. This role demonstrates proven abilities and success with Oracle PeopleSoft SCM or other applications. The role will also interact with different levels throughout the organization: accountants, end users, architects, production support engineers and management. The role will be expected to assist with various hands-on activities as required based on workload. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers in an organized and knowledgeable manner. In addition, they should demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor. Key Accountabilities * Support the Master Data policies and procedures and ensure enterprise adoption * Configuration and maintenance of new data sets (suppliers, items, locations) * Catalog maintenance (pricing, unit of measure, suppliers) * Item tree maintenance (categories) * Implement process improvements through introduction of new functionality, training * Identify and manage critical data management issues and risks * Work with IT and Business Project Managers on Master Data related initiatives * Support Clinical Value Team initiatives Reduce data exceptions using third party tool recommendations Qualifications * Familiarity with PeopleSoft and Tecsys in support of requisitioning and inventory management * Understanding how data is used with business processes and its impact * Understanding of clinical inventory management in HealthCare * Ability to organize workload, and the capacity to progress a range of tasks and projects at one time * Communicate well with administrative staff, external organizations and with other staff at all levels * Highly motivated, committed, effective and supportive team member, who can problem solve and work flexibly, quickly and accurately to tight deadlines * Analytical with the ability to take individual data request and communicate impact for the enterprise * Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments, individually or as part of a team * Ability to proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback * LEAN certification a plus * Prefer 3-5 years professional work experience; 1-3 years ERP system application experience, preferably PeopleSoft or Tecsys _We take great care of careers_.
