JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

DUTIES: Monitor New Relic dashboards for the 7NOW application. Create and configure New Relic alert policies, and respond to triggered ServiceNow incidents based on PagerDuty. Maintain and manage AWS cloud infrastructure in Dev, QA, and Production environments. Handle AWS services (CloudWatch, S3, IAM, Lambda, SNS, Systems manager, ECS, EC2, WAF, CloudFront, Code Build, Code Deploy, and API Gateway). Monitor AWS CloudWatch Dashboards, & MongoDB clusters, and troubleshoot using AWS Lambda functions logs via CloudWatch insights. Create & maintain promotion related work using Django, Postman, visual studio code and Promo portal. Use troubleshooting techniques and MongoDB collections. Debug and find the root cause analysis for issues related to APIs, devices, & respective applications. Use Microsoft Azure services such as Intune to control the 7NOW store devices and their statuses including syncing application and remotely keeping devices in kiosk. Manage container repositories on AWS ECR, docker hub and configure auto scaling on tasks running on ECS. Manage, troubleshoot & support third party partners which are integrated with 7NOW application. Setup CI/CD pipelines for React - iOS application using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, & android application using gradle build tool and S3 for antifactory repository for builds. Setup and maintain AWS Elasticsearch services to securely ingest APIs, and create dashboards related to error logs in Kibana. Create & monitor dashboards on MixPanel and create alerts to specific workflows with respect to 7NOW store & customer applications. Communicate strategies and processes around application architecture to cross-functional groups and senior levels. Resolve incidents in BMC Remedy & ServiceNow. Work on Atlassian Jira and create issues based on the user experiences. Create and maintain documentation using Atlassian Confluence.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Security or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years:

• Supporting and troubleshooting AWS Services;

• JavaScript and Python;

• Monitoring Tools such as NewRelic, and Kibana;

• ServiceNow, and Jira ticketing systems;

• Troubleshooting and querying MongoDB;

• Microsoft Intune device management;

• iOS Device support and troubleshooting; and

• Supporting retail/customers remotely.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Security or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years:

• Supporting and troubleshooting AWS Services;

• JavaScript and Python;

• Monitoring Tools such as NewRelic, and Kibana;

• ServiceNow, and Jira ticketing systems;

• Troubleshooting and querying MongoDB;

• Microsoft Intune device management;

• iOS Device support and troubleshooting; and

• Supporting retail/customers remotely.

Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
