    Think this role is for you?

     

    The Operations Technical Specialist supports various areas of manufacturing including production and testing. You will work with a team of scientists to execute root cause determination experiments for investigations of unexpected results related to product manufacturing

    Key Outcomes

    + Under guidance, execute protocols and generate data summaries using data analysis tools.

    + On occasion, you will perform testing to make sure products are ready to be released, following GMP rules.

    + Operate laboratory equipment to generate timely, reliable, and accurate data.

    + Perform activities essential to laboratory daily operations (e.g., equipment maintenance, executing cleaning requirements, upkeep of supplies, etc.).

    + Help with tasks to solve quality issues, fix technical problems, business continuity or continuous improvement efforts.

     

    Do you have what it takes?

     

    + You are a good communicator, you work well in a collaborative team environment, and can follow instructions on increasingly complex projects.

    + You follow lab best practices, handle scientific equipment (and can troubleshoot a bit), and know how to make sense of data—even when it gets a little tricky.

    + You juggle tasks when things get busy, stick to important rules like FDA and company procedures, and have some scientific writing know-how.

    + Most importantly, you enjoy lab work and can keep up with the pace!

    Additional qualifications and information

    + Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.

    + 1-3 years of experience working in a non-research lab highly preferred

    + Knowledge of cGMP, QSR and ISO regulated environments, including knowledge of compliance enforcement necessary for 510K and PMA products.

    The annualized base salary range for this role is $71,000 - $86,600 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
