As a **Security Professional – Unarmed Distribution Patrol** in **Bessemer, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout logistics and distribution locations. You will remain highly visible, engaging with team members and visitors to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any needs that arise on site.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities and/or conditions within the location to the appropriate parties.

+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points as required by site protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol and during incident response.

+ Complete detailed reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and/or other relevant events during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
