Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Equipment Cleaning Associate to join their team. This position is short term until the cleaning has been completed, however, there might be a chance to transition to a general labor (entry level) position. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good attendance and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment, which will align successfully in this position.

**Job Title:** Equipment Cleaning Associate

**Location:** TRAVERSE CITY, MI

**Pay Rate:** $18 an hour

**Shift:** 6 am to 2:30 pm (8-hour workday) OR 6 am to 4:30 pm (10-hour workday)

What's the Job?

+ Cleaning CNC machines thoroughly from top to bottom using brushes, compressed air, or vacuums with thin nozzles

+ Removing debris from all accessible areas of the machinery

+ Moving machine spindles to access all sides of linear rails for comprehensive cleaning

+ Using dental picks to gently scrape away stubborn particles from bearing blocks if necessary

+ Wiping down linear rails, gear tracks, and other surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and white rags to remove residue

What's Needed?

+ Basic knowledge of casual labor and cleaning tasks

+ Not afraid to get dirty

+ Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

+ Strong attention to detail and safety procedures

+ Reliable attendance and positive attitude

+ Willingness to work in a temporary assignment with potential for future opportunities

+ Must be able to pass the client background and drug screening requirements
