    Our client, a leader in manufacturing and woodworking industries, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team in the Sanding Department. As part of this team, you will play a vital role in preparing wood and plastic components for finishing and assembly, contributing to high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, precision, and a strong work ethic, aligning well with the organization’s commitment to excellence and safety.

    Job Title: General Assembly

    **Location:** South Bend, IN

    Pay Range:

    **Shift:** Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Sand, smooth, and prepare wood and plastic components for finishing and assembly

    + Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure quality standards are met

    + Operate power tools such as sanders, drills, and nailers safely and efficiently

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

    + Assist with material handling and support other production tasks as needed

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or a similar production environment

    + Proficiency with power tools including sanders, drills, and nailers

    + Ability to read a tape measure accurately and work with precision

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
