• Breakdown Rolling Mill Operator

    Rolling Mill Operator on the 1st shift - In this role, you will set up and operate precision rolling mills to reduce a variety of heavy-duty metal stock to uniform/precise thickness specifications according to work order requirements. You will work as part of a team, collaborating with other operators and skilled workers.

    Essential Job Duties:

    + Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.

    + Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure the equipment is working properly and adjust as needed.

    + Feed raw material and inspect parts with precision and measuring tools such as various hand tools, finish slitter machines, micrometers, calculators, and related tools.

    + Must follow established company and department rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.

    + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to priority changes and short notice activity.

    + Support a safety culture by following all safety rules including reporting all incidents and near misses.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Excellent mechanical and logical thinking, able to do simple maintenance and repairs.

    + Attention to detail, ability to follow written instructions.

    + Must be able to read, write and speak English.

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Must follow all safety rules.

    + Must be able to pass a background check.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
