    Job Description

    We are seeking a Junior Architect to join our dynamic team in support of building design and production. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including governmental buildings such as courthouses and athletic facilities, educational facilities for K-12 and higher education, as well as healthcare facilities like hospitals.

    Responsibilities

    + Contribute to and supervise the production of design and contract documents for various building types.

    + Coordinate with staff to meet project goals, objectives, and schedules.

    + Assist in project management tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

    + Manage relationships with design consultants, owner representatives, public officials, and review officials.

    + Conduct quality assurance reviews of project documents.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1+ years of architectural production experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

    + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

    + Strong experience in architectural production and spatial/environmental design.

    + Exceptional design and technical abilities.

    + Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver effective presentations.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with municipal/public sector projects.

    + On track to obtain architectural licensure.

    + Ability to take projects from concept to completion.

    + Understanding of building construction and public works.

    Work Environment

    Our work environment is relaxed and prioritizes employee well-being. The office is located in Boca, currently with 6 employees and plans to expand rapidly. The expectation is to work in the office for 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule from 8am/9am to 5pm/6pm. Summer Fridays offer an adjusted schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with Monday to Thursday hours from 8am to 6pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm.     This is a Permanent position based out of Boca Raton, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
