Material Handler - Direct Employment - Heavy Duty Forklift (Indoor and outdoor work)-Will pay up to $27/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused forklift operator to support our welding and fabrication departments. This role involves transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks, and managing inventory both indoors and outdoors. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts (up to 36,000 lbs), jib cranes, and overhead hoists with proper rigging techniques.

+ Load and unload LTL and flatbed trucks; transport materials across departments and to/from the yard.

+ Pull and stage assembly parts, store raw materials, and complete inventory paperwork.

+ Maintain organized indoor and outdoor inventory areas.

+ Collaborate with drivers to position trucks for efficient unloading.

+ Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and label items with part numbers.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage areas.

+ Assist with fabrication, grinding, and other manufacturing tasks as needed.

+ Follow all safety protocols and consistently use required PPE.

Qualifications:

+ Experience operating heavy-duty forklifts and rigging equipment.

+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

+ Ability to read and maintain bills of material and parts sales orders.

+ Team-oriented with flexibility to support multiple departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
