Job Title: Sanitation Lead
Job Description
Join our team as a Sanitation Lead, working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. In this role, you will assist the Sanitation Manager in managing all environmental programs, SSOPs, SOPs, and sanitation operations. You will supervise sanitation and janitorial workers and ensure compliance with safety, FDA, and SQF regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform visual pre-operational inspections of production lines and conduct ATP swabs as needed.
+ Conduct environmental monitoring and new equipment sampling for Hygiena Insite laboratory testing.
+ Prepare and conduct air quality, compressed air, and nitrogen quality testing.
+ Maintain recordkeeping for the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), janitorial, and sanitation quality checks.
+ Collaborate with the Sanitation Manager on sanitation standards, GMPs, SOPs, and instructions.
+ Supervise chemical delime for dish machines and the dilution system, and prepare peracetic acid sanitizer as needed.
+ Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and other tools; operate an auto floor scrubber.
+ Conduct titration and chemical concentration checks.
+ Control inventory of chemicals and supplies.
+ Supervise janitorial, sanitation production, and wash bay area tasks.
+ Ensure compliance with SSOPs, SOPs, work instructions, government regulations, and customer SQF requirements.
+ Serve as a backup for quality assurance, sanitation workers, and the Sanitation Manager.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to write procedures and instructions in Spanish or English.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Ability to lead a team of sanitation workers.
+ Experience in sanitation is preferred.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds on rare occasions.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and paper checks.
+ Ability to complete food-ready sanitation tasks using a tablet device.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
+ Familiarity with sanitation practices and chemicals.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where you will work second-shift hours. The environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will be using various sanitation chemicals and equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with industry standards.
