Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cleanroom Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. You will be responsible for performing both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies. You will work off a computer tablet for instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams during the production process.
Responsibilities
+ Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies.
+ Utilize knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications.
+ Use various hand tools, semi-automatic and manual wire crimpers, and power tools.
+ Follow instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams from a computer tablet.
+ Measure wires with precision using a tape measure to ensure accuracy to 1/8 of an inch.
+ Lift up to 30 pounds periodically.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly and wiring.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to follow instructions via a computer tablet.
+ Knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications.
+ Experience in reading a tape measure accurately to 1/8 of an inch.
+ Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 6 months to 1 year of wire assembly experience.
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa, operating on a 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Our temperature-controlled facility provides a clean, modern work environment with art on the walls. Employees can listen to headphones/iPhones while working and have their own lockers for personal belongings. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and work-appropriate shirts or sweatshirts. The team consists of 20 to 30 employees, working mainly independently at 'cell' workstations. Seating is not guaranteed, but some roles do offer the option to sit. We foster a family-oriented culture and expand our team during busy seasons to maintain high standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
