             Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a site-wide beautification initiative within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in painting, surface preparation, and light assembly work. The technician will play a key role in enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of our facility. Responsibilities + Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation such as sanding, patching, and priming. + Assemble and install light fixtures, signage, furniture, and other components as part of the beautification scope. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. + Safely operate hand and power tools. + Collaborate with site teams to ensure work aligns with project goals and timelines. + Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing site procedures. Essential Skills + Proven experience in painting and light maintenance work. + Familiarity with basic assembly tasks and tools. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed. + Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Painting & Surface Prep: Includes sanding, patching, priming, and applying finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. + Light Assembly: Ability to install fixtures, signage, furniture, and perform basic carpentry tasks. + Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to perform minor repairs. + Electrical Basics: Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, use of meters (24V to 480V), and interpreting schematics. + Plumbing & HVAC Support: Basic plumbing repairs and support for HVAC systems (e.g., changing filters, cleaning coils). + Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, sanders, and screwdrivers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
