             Job Title: Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Director Job Description The Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Director is tasked with overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of all healthcare facility systems. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and creates a safe, efficient, and patient-friendly environment. It involves strategic planning, technical expertise, and leadership to manage preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects. The Director will support a small 34-bed surgical facility. Responsibilities + Oversee maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of healthcare facility systems. + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards to provide a safe and efficient environment. + Manage preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects. + Support a 34-bed surgical facility with strategic planning and technical expertise. + Perform management duties including hiring, professional development, and communication with staff members. + Conduct performance reviews and take personal responsibility for the Facility team. + Organize and manage daily activities, events, project, and move management. + Develop office standards and policies and procedures. + Manage vendor contracts and maintain relationships with outside vendors. + Monitor vendor performance and quality levels, and research new vendors. + Serve as Designated Safety Officer, directing security efforts and emergency response plans. + Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and function as the after-hours contact for property management. + Train staff in office emergency procedures. + Manage purchasing and reporting, including financial reports, budgeting, and payroll. + Maintain inventory and service reports. + Champion a safe, clean, and organized work area. + Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Essential Skills + Expertise in plumbing, facilities maintenance, electrical, HVAC, AC, air conditioning, repair, mechanical, and ventilation. + Experience with Building Automation Systems and CMMS. + Strong management skills including vendor management and maintenance management. + Proficient in medical equipment maintenance. + Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and electrical issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with auditing and HVAC systems management. + Skills in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. + Ability to develop and maintain vendor relations. + Knowledge of purchasing, reporting, and budgeting.
