Machine Operator

Responsibilities

+ **Set up, operate, and monitor automated welding and tube forming machines.**

+ **Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and positioning.**

+ **Adjust machine settings based on product specifications and quality standards.**

+ **Conduct in-process inspections and measurements to ensure dimensional accuracy.**

+ **Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or welding defects.**

+ **Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.**

+ **Document production output and quality checks in accordance with company procedures.**

+ **Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve process efficiency and product quality.**

+ **Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.**

Essential Skills

+ **Experience in machine operation and general production tasks.**

+ **Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.**

+ **Proficiency in assembly and inspection processes.**

+ **Experience in automotive or packing environments.**

Work Environment

Work in a metals manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled, with exposure to the smell of oil and metal. The facility is organized into cells for different product lines and stages in the manufacturing process. This is a union environment, and contractors will join the union once they become permanent employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
