Job Title: Construction Crew Member

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch industrial and commercial construction services. As a Construction Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by performing light rough carpentry and maintaining a clean job site. Your contribution will be vital to our projects' success, especially as you gain experience and work closely with the Lead Foreman.

Responsibilities

+ Perform light rough carpentry tasks.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization at the job site.

+ Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws after training.

+ Assist the construction crew on various tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3+ months experience in a construction setting.

+ 3+ months experience using hand tools like hammers, drills, and saws.

+ 3+ months experience in rough carpentry or demolition work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6+ months experience working on a farm is a plus.

+ 6+ months experience on commercial construction projects is advantageous.

+ 3+ months of experience in finish carpentry is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work on commercial and industrial sites, participating in expansion and new construction projects. The environment can be loud and cold, especially in the winter months, as projects often require moving between indoor and outdoor locations. The role is based in Manitowoc, and the company employs a team of 25 plus two owners throughout the winter season.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
