Description

We’re seeking a Senior Data Architect with proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data ecosystems using Microsoft Azure. This individual will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting scalable data platforms, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring high data integrity and governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design and architect end-to-end Azure-based data solutions including data lakes, data warehouses, and integration pipelines.

+ Lead the development and modernization of enterprise data platforms aligned with business strategy.

+ Establish and enforce data governance, security standards, and data quality frameworks.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, and Application teams.

+ Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to engineering teams through code reviews and architectural best practices.

+ Evaluate new tools, technologies, and frameworks with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

+ Create architecture documentation, data models, integration patterns, and solution diagrams.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fields.

+ Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Purview).

+ Deep knowledge of data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).

+ Strong experience with ETL/ELT design and data pipeline orchestration.

+ Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or Scala.

+ Experience with enterprise data governance & MDM frameworks.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

+ Experience working in Agile environments.

+ Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD deployment practices.

+ Background supporting advanced analytics, ML, or AI-driven use cases.

+ Industry experience in Finance, Healthcare, or SaaS environments (optional).
