Position Summary:
Responsible for overall project design and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The construction project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management.
General Duties:
+ Project organization and administration; responsible for all engineering, accounting, cost control, quality assurance, and project closeout on assigned projects.
+ To know the plans, specifications, estimate, cost reports and the contract for all assigned projects.
+ Determine the overall construction schedule and preparation of the detailed CPM schedule.
+ Supervise all subcontract work: procurement, coordination, performance, and final payments.
+ Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with the Owner and Architect: obtain approvals, change orders, extra work orders, requisitions and acceptance of work.
+ Review and approve all requisitions, purchase orders, and cost codes to exercise control over all expenditures.
+ Review subcontractor’s field supervisory personnel and forces for adequacy to meet schedule requirements and ensure subcontractor compliance.
+ Hold weekly meetings with subcontractors, Owner and Architect on all assigned jobs.
+ Attend stakeholder appropriate meetings, i.e. project meetings, owner’s meetings, etc.

Construction experience in healthcare is preferred.
