The Business Development (BD) team plays a critical role in executing and accelerating our product roadmap and strategy for our Products & Services Marketplace. The BD team is responsible for driving growth, engagement, and monetization globally through partnerships. In this role you will proactively collaborate with Product Management to conceive and execute product integration opportunities by articulating partner strategies, identifying and executing the right deals, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives, in collaboration with other cross-functional teams. The role will be key in driving strategic measurement initiatives to accelerate the next phase of growth for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business.
We are looking for a business development professional to play a critical role in identifying and growing high-impact partnerships that accelerate our LinkedIn Marketing Solutions business. They will be charged with identifying, executing and managing partnerships and strategies based on analyses of market opportunities in the enterprise B2B tech, measurement, and analytics space. This person will possess relevant partnership experience in the advertising measurement industry, measurement subject matter expertise, a proven ability to work well cross functionally to define and implement new solutions, and an infectious passion for LinkedIn and the B2B space.
Responsibilities
+ Defining partnership and program strategies by which partnerships can help grow the business.
+ Identifying and building business cases for high potential partnership opportunities leveraging data analysis & insights to develop strong cases.
+ Structuring and negotiating agreements with prospective partners, working with Legal, and collaborating with cross functional-teams to drive decisions and commitment on deal points.
+ Managing and optimizing a portfolio of partnerships to grow and support the business at global scale.
+ Developing a strong understanding of LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions business and helping to influence LinkedIn’s leadership team on future products and business strategy.
+ Synthesizing and sharing relevant ecosystem insights about the digital advertising industry and innovations in advertising measurement with LinkedIn’s leaders and executives.
+ Working with other groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Product, Engineering, Partner Engineering, Marketing, Communications, and Legal to drive value through partnerships and visibility of BD activities.
+ Travel may be required for this role.
Basic Qualifications
+ 3+ years of work experience in a business development or strategy role.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Experience with platform or product partnerships.
+ Experience in the digital advertising or marketing industries.
+ Experience scaling businesses, partnerships and programs globally.
+ Experience connecting business opportunities and use cases to the technical and operational requirements needed to execute against them.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in or advising in the B2B advertising and marketing space.
+ Experience and interest in Ads Measurement and optimization, including knowledge of prevalent industry approaches run by ad platforms, customers, and 3P vendors and how those solutions influence advertiser decisioning.
+ Experience in some type of analytical role (e.g. consulting firm, investment bank, M&A/Corporate Strategy or Business Operations).
+ Interest and excitement about LinkedIn’s products, especially within the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions’ ability to think strategically about how partnering with 3rd-parties can create compelling new experiences for LinkedIn’s members and customers.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform in an entrepreneurial setting, working independently across multiple groups and thriving in a high-pressure and rapidly moving environment.
+ Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing different stakeholders across multiple work-streams; works exceptionally well across functional groups.
+ Proven project management capabilities.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Acts like an owner, takes responsibility for one’s actions and for outcomes related to one’s decisions; passionate about the success of LinkedIn’s members, customers and partners.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $116,000 to $188,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
