• Cloud DevOps Engineer

    **Mantech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Cloud DevOps Engineer** to join our team in **Hanover, MD** .

     

    In this role you will be working as a cloud Engineer utilizing cloud computing platforms and developing full stack web application interfacing with AWS services. The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation.

     

    **Responsibilities Included but are not limited to** :

    + Responsible for building new and improving existing CI/CD pipelines.

    + Responsible for performing operations on end-user virtual machine provisioning/de-provisioning (VMWARE, and Amazon AWS platforms) supporting the automation of Active Directory security group manipulations.

    + Will perform daily development using .Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms.

    + Responsible for creating collection object cleanup routine within an Angular/Node JS application to simulate a hierarchical cascade delete process for a dynamic MongoDB system.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university

    + 12+ years of programming experience, including 1.5+ years with an object-oriented language. ​

    + ​5+ years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

    + ​2+ years’ experience working within the Linux desktop environment and bash shell​

    + Experience with Ansible, Python, Angular and Django

    + IAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment. Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + ​Experience with open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project such as GitLab, AWS Web Services, and Visual Studio

    + ​.Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms

    + Kubernetes Application Developer or Administrator certification can be substituted for additional 2 years of experience

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

    Physical Requirements:

    + The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk.

    + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

    + Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
