Salary: $880 / Week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide exceptional support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We currently have opportunities available across multiple residential facilities and homes in Thousand Oaks.

Position Details:

+ Work Setting: Group Homes

+ Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

+ Schedule: AM,PM, NOC shifts available (full-time and part-time options)

+ Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (with a strong possibility of extension)

+ Pay Rate: $20 - 23 / hr (Weekly Pay!)

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Personal Care Assistance

+ Support with dressing, undressing, bathing, toileting, and maintaining overall hygiene.

+ Household Tasks

+ Assist with meal preparation, cleanup, laundry, and other general cleaning activities.

+ Mobility Support

+ Help with moving in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and automobiles.

+ Engagement in Activities

+ Facilitate participation in outings, crafts, entertainment, and community events.

+ Direct Support

+ Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors and/or nursing staff.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or its equivalent

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
