             Service Logistics Manager Alpharetta, GA Full Time Service Experienced Share (https://cennox.applytojob.com/app/share/pAusvRoy55) Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing reverse logistics operations, including core recovery, refurb coordination, and material movement optimization to achieve cost savings and improve service part availability. Duties and Responsibilities: + Oversee the end-to-end reverse logistics process including field returns, core recovery, depot routing, and vendor refurb coordination. + Develop and enforce compliance programs to maximize recoverable core value and minimize field retention losses. + Align with depot, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure returned materials are evaluated, repaired, or refurbished within SLA timelines. + Create and track operational dashboards measuring turnaround times, recovery rates, repair yields, and cost-avoidance metrics. + Partner with the Inventory Analyst to balance stock positions, forecast refurb supply, and support service readiness goals. + Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma principles to reduce waste, improve turnaround time, and increase recovery value. + Support system automation and integration with Oracle for part traceability, RMA workflows, and refurbishment visibility. + Own departmental budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report monthly savings tied to recovery and refurb activities. + Work closely with Service, Procurement, and Finance teams to align return processes, cost allocations, and material disposition strategies. + Ensure all reverse logistics activities comply with company policies and audit standards for serialized material tracking and financial reconciliation. + Supervise Service Logistics Coordinators and Analysts, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development. + Monitor and support all aspects of technician inventory administration, including receipts, usage, returns, tech-to-tech transfers, and inventory counts to ensure accuracy and accountability across the field network + All other duties as assigned. Skills and Requirements: + Problem Solving – will need to promptly identify and resolve problems by gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing alternative solutions, working well with others to implement solutions, and using reason while dealing with emotional topics. + Customer Service – will need to manage difficult or emotional vendor situations, respond promptly to customer needs, solicit feedback from the customer, respond and request assistance when asked or needed, and meet commitments made to customers. + Oral Communication – will need to speak clearly and persuasively in a positive manner, even in adverse situations, and listen and ask for clarification when needed. + Teamwork – will contribute to building a positive team spirit. + Attendance/Punctuality – will be at work and on time to work consistently and ensure work duties are covered when absent. Supervisory Responsibilities: + Manage multiple employees, including coordinators and analysts Experience and Education: + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field. + 5+ years in service logistics or reverse logistics management preferred. Physical Requirements: + Ability to sit and stay focused for long periods of time + Vision correctable to 20/20 + Finger dexterity for keyboarding and computer usage
