About the Program
Brightstar Lottery is excited to offer a two-year rotational internship within our Corporate Accounting Department. This immersive program is tailored for motivated, detail-oriented students eager to gain practical experience across key accounting functions. Interns will rotate through four core areas—Accounting Compliance, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Financial Reporting—while contributing to a dynamic, mission-driven organization committed to excellence and integrity.
Program Structure
Participants will complete four structured rotations, each lasting approximately six months, in the following areas:
1. **Accounting Compliance**
2. Assist with internal controls, policy reviews, and audit support
3. Help ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
4. **Corporate Accounting**
5. Support month-end close processes and journal entries
6. Reconcile accounts and assist with general ledger maintenance
7. **Tax**
8. Contribute to tax filings, documentation, and research
9. Assist with state and federal compliance tasks
10. **Financial Reporting**
11. Help prepare internal and external financial reports
12. Support data analysis and reporting accuracy
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operations
+ Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making
+ Prepare documentation and reports for audits and internal reviews
+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
+ Ability to commit to a hybrid schedule of 15–20 hours per week for two years

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting salary range is _$43,680- $46,800_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
