             Job Description Own digital PCBA development from blank sheet to flight. Develop PCBA requirements, architectures, and con-ops in collaboration with other engineering disciplines. Schematic capture and PCB layout of complex high speed digital processing PCBAs using Altium Designer. Circuit analysis and simulations including signal integrity, timing, SWaP, tolerance, and reliability. PCBA design verification testing and system integration testing. Skills and Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. 15+ years of experience in digital or mixed signal electronics design including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. Design proficiency with processors, FPGAs, SoCs, memory, high speed data interfaces, switch mode power supplies, clocking, etc. Skilled at schematic capture and layout of complex HDI PCBs. Skilled at performing circuit simulations and analysis for signal integrity, timing, size/mass, power, etc. Preferred tools include HyperLynx, Spice, silicon vendor supplied planning tools (ex Vivado). Proficiency with basic electronic lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, soldering iron, etc. Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Experience designing for space environments including radiation impacts and mitigation. Familiarity with Altium Designer RF and transmission line design and simulation skills. Experience designing rigid-flex PCBs and general electro-mechanical design familiarity. FPGA or software design skills.
