Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer or Architect to revamp and optimize their existing SharePoint environment. The goal is to transform it into a modern, user-friendly internal intranet site that serves as a central hub for 35 internal users across multiple departments. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a self-driven professional who can take ownership of the project and deliver a clean, functional, and visually appealing SharePoint experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and clean up the current SharePoint environment

• Design and implement a modern intranet-style SharePoint site tailored to different departmental needs

• Create department-specific pages, document libraries, and workflows

• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 tools

• Ensure intuitive navigation, branding consistency, and responsive design

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide training as needed

• Maintain and enhance the SharePoint site on an ongoing basis

Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer or Architect (SharePoint Online/M365)

• Strong understanding of SharePoint site architecture, permissions, and content management

• Experience building internal intranet portals using Microsoft 365 tools

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams integration and customization

• Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus

• Experience with Salesforce and Tableau (integration or data visualization) is required

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting • UI/UX design experience for internal portals

• Experience with governance and compliance best practices in SharePoint

• Familiarity with agile project management tools and methodologies
