    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring for a Mec Billing Analyst to join their Billing Design Team to sit onsite in either Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO for a large, telecommunication company for $30-$33 an hour. The MEC Billing Analyst ensures accurate billing for services managed through the Master Enterprise Catalogue, supporting telecom and edge computing offerings. This role involves configuring catalog items, validating billing data, and collaborating across finance, product, and technical teams to maintain compliance and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Billing Operations

    • Prepare and issue invoices for MEC-related services.

    • Validate billing data against catalog configurations and service agreements.

    • Resolve billing discrepancies promptly and accurately.

    • Catalogue Management

    • Assist in service code setup and catalog updates for new products.

    • Ensure catalog alignment with pricing models and billing systems.

    • Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Analyze billing trends and identify inconsistencies.

    • Generate monthly billing reports and revenue forecasts.

    • Compliance & Process Improvement

    • Maintain adherence to company policies and telecom regulations.

    • Support audits and implement process enhancements.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work with product, finance, and IT teams to ensure billing accuracy.

     

    Participate in MEC-related projects and system upgrades

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves

    • 2+ years in billing, finance, or telecom operations.

    • Familiarity with billing systems (e.g., Siebel, CSG, SAP).

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and basic SQL.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
