    Job Description

    We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. The Refrigeration Technician will perform refrigeration and HVAC equipment repair, maintenance, and installation services for full-service restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores, retailers, coffee shops and concession operations.

     

    Our employees will receive a company phone, vehicle, and company provided uniforms. This position requires service in the field to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.

    Responsibilities

    • Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment

    • Provide the highest level of service to the customer and professionally communicate the service needed to customers and management.

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

    • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance

    • Legibly document and maintain accurate records for services performed on behalf of the customer

    • Consult with management to get needed parts ordered

    • Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnosing problems with equipment

    • Install parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner

    • Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures

    • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards

    Skills and Requirements

    • High School graduate/GED or the equivalent

    • 3+ years of experience as a refrigeration/HVAC equipment technician

    • Must be EPA certified

    • CEFESA certification is a plus

    • Additional experience in gas, electric, and/or steam repairs is a plus

    • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

    • Must be motivated, a self-starter and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision

     

    Must be able to work on rotational on call as needed
