**Location:** Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA
**Sign-on Bonus:** Up to $5000.00 (based on hours worked per week) with a 2-year commitment. External and internal eligible candidates only.
Multiple shifts available including...
*Full time, 3rd shift, hours are between 10:30pm-7:00am, every other weekend, 2-3 holidays per year, on-call rotation.
*Full time, 2nd shift, evenings hours are between 2:00pm-7:00am, nights as needed between 10:30pm-7:00am, every other weekend rotation and 2-3 holidays per year, and on-call rotation.
*Full time, weekends Friday through Sunday, 12 hour shifts from 6:30pm-7am, no holidays, on-call rotation, weekend stipend eligible.
*Part time, 2nd shift, evening hours are between 2:00pm-11:00pm, every other weekend rotation, 2-3 holidays per year, on-call rotation.
*Part time, weekends, every other Friday, evening hours are between 2:00pm-11:00pm, every other weekend rotation, 2-3 holidays per year, and on-call rotation.
*PRN, flexible hours, minimum of 8 hours per 2 weeks pay period (Not eligible for Sign-on bonus).
*We require a less than 1 hour response time.
Position Summary:
Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic procedures through proper patient positioning, technique selection, application of immobilization and radiation protection devices.
Essential Functions:
+ Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through patient positioning, technique selection, administration of contrast media and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices as established by LG protocols, policies and procedures.
+ Receives requests, checking for special instructions from the requesting physicians. Consults with Radiologists as necessary.
+ Greets patients--confirming their identifications performing the correct procedures as directed and completely explaining the procedure to patient and family as directed.
+ Operates and enters information through the hospital computer system. Documents required information and patient history in the electronic medical record. Documents other information as required.
+ Completes examination, consultation, and billing procedures as required. Performs POC testing, Universal Protocol and other paperwork as applicable.
+ Accurately and appropriately utilizes all computer related equipment, such as the electronic health record, email and the intranet.
+ May require travel to various site locations.
+ Performs visual preventive safety inspections. Completes warm-up procedures for each radiographic room/equipment as assigned. Records quality control activities. Reports equipment conditions to immediate leadership or appropriate personnel.
+ Compliance with OSHA and other mandated safety procedures or regulations.
+ Maintains necessary inventory supplies for assigned workstation, rotating stock in an orderly fashion and eliminating outdated items.
+ Participates in the clinical education of Radiology students as required.
+ Participates in the on-call responsibilities for this position as required.
Required Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an AMA approved Radiological Technology School
+ Certification in Radiological Technology, issued by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, is required to be obtained within six (6) months of graduation if hired after 8/1/2025, or twelve (12) months if hired between 1/1/2024 and 7/31/2025, or eighteen (18) months if hired prior to 1/1/2024
+ CPR certification
+ Valid driver's license may be required (based upon position assignment)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of clinical experience beyond training
