**Pay:** $29.59/hour
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
**PDS Tech Commercial** is hiring a skilled **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** to join our team in partnership with a leading name in the **Commercial Real Estate industry** . In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure facilities run safely, efficiently, and reliably—playing a key part in maintaining exceptional building operations and client satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks to keep facilities in top condition.
Daily Responsibilities:
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on building systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
+ Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that impact operations or safety.
+ Handle general interior maintenance—installing fixtures, repairing furniture systems, hanging pictures, and maintaining doors.
+ Support the operations team with maintenance and repair of building equipment.
+ Replace lighting and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, and change filters and belts.
+ Move office furniture, machinery, and materials as needed.
+ Complete other assigned maintenance duties to support smooth facility operations.
Safety & Compliance:
+ Conduct hazard assessments and follow all safety protocols.
+ Maintain compliance with local and state codes and complete required safety training.
+ Practice defensive driving and follow all hazardous material storage and disposal policies.
Administrative & Operational:
+ Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems such as 360 Facility.
+ Submit receipts daily and perform vehicle safety inspections (if applicable).
+ Attend team and safety meetings and escalate issues as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1–3 years of hands-on experience in general building repair and maintenance (mechanical, basic electrical, and plumbing).
+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
+ Valid state driver’s license (if mobile).
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work from heights up to 30 feet, and perform frequent climbing, bending, and overhead work.
+ Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (hot/cold).
+ Able to drive for extended periods if required.

**Pay Details:** $29.59 per hour
