American Express National Bank (AENB) is American Express’ U.S. banking operation serving consumer and small business customers with payments, financing, and savings products. AENB accounts for more than 60% of the overall company’s revenues and net income. AENB Headquarters (HQ) drives the administration of programs and services provided by AENB, in partnership with the various businesses, functions, and executive officers. The AENB Chief Operations Office also plays an enterprise role in driving greater consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency across the first line via its Strategic Planning, Control Management, Program Management, and Governance functions. The Analyst, Third Party Lifecycle Support will be responsible for acting as the liaison between American Express National Bank (AENB) and Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) business units engaging third-party vendors, Third-Party Lifecycle Management (TLM), and Global Supply Management (GSM). They will be an expert of the third-party ecosystem for AENB & GRC. The Analyst will demonstrate broad knowledge about the vendors, the services they offer, and the data they consume and act as single point of contact for stakeholders to access deeper levels of supplier knowledge. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and support AENB and GRC with onboarding new third-party relationships. + Build strong relationships with key partners. + Support key third-party governance activities (e.g. risk assessment, program changes, etc.) to ensure compliance with the Third-Party Lifecycle Management program. + Support implementation and execution of the program and work with various local market regulators for vendor compliance. + Provide best practices, promote consistency, and lead/contribute to initiatives to improve and streamline processes. Minimum Qualifications: + Ability to drive results through cross functional collaboration. + Ability to review significant amount of data and prioritize based on program needs. + Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. + Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy and productivity. + Ability to attend occasional meetings outside of normal working hours, as required for global roles. + Experience in risk management and compliance functions, with a clear understanding of control frameworks. + Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex problems, identify solutions, and drive continuous improvement. + Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals/initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, finance, or a related field.
