As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.

+ Observe entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.

+ Document observations and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific guidelines.

+ Collaborate with store management and/or local law enforcement when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies within the retail environment.

+ Assist customers and staff with general inquiries or requests for assistance, maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
