We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to evaluate and enhance existing processes, ensuring optimal productivity and workflow within our facility. The ideal candidate will design and develop processes, oversee operations and maintenance, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Evaluate and improve existing processes to optimize productivity.
+ Research, design, and develop new processes.
+ Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes.
+ Analyze and make recommendations on the organization and setup of operations.
+ Implement new processes and procedures.
+ Investigate and troubleshoot issues with processes, procedures, and operations.
+ Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies, resolving discrepancies with management.
+ Maintain accurate process records, including documentation of process issues and their impacts.
+ Evaluate parts or equipment for abnormal wear or damage, ensuring routine maintenance is performed.
+ Ensure site employees adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
+ Review and update the PPE matrix as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10 years of experience in lieu.
+ 3+ years of experience in an industrial, automotive, food & beverage, or chemical environment.
+ Proficiency in process data tools (PI).
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in process improvement, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
+ Ability to develop and update SOPs and provide training.
+ Experience with SPC, root cause analysis, and manufacturing processes.
+ Familiarity with PSM and environmental regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical engineering experience.
+ Mentorship and coaching experience.
+ Project experience, including managing capital projects such as rebuilds and retrofits.
+ Experience working with customers.
+ Knowledge of heat/mass transfer, combustion, and scrubbing is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to noise, dust, heat, steam, and hazardous materials within the plant. Employees are required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as rubberized suits and respiratory apparatus when necessary. The company fosters a small family culture and has recently implemented an ESOP Program. Employees have direct access to leadership, ensuring they receive the support they need.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Osceola, Arkansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
